My name is Tom Daniels, founder of Champaign County Paranormal. Proudly serving but not limited to central and southwestern Ohio. My paranormal experience started young. I grew up in an active home, and this peaked my interest at an early age. I started in this field by researching urban legends around my area. I’ve always been fascinated by the audio side(evps) of the paranormal. Then 4 years ago, I helped create this tight knit group Champaign County Paranormal based in Urbana, Ohio. It all started as a hobby, but then when you realize it actually helps people, it becomes so much more. I was named the IPI rep for Ohio awhile back, and just recently was given the head rep for my region.
Champaign County Paranormal takes a common sense approach to investigating. Like it says on our home page” just because it goes bump in the night, it don’t have to say BOO”. We debunk, investigate, and debunk again because most claims have a man made or environmental cause . We believe it has to be experienced or recorded to be evidence. With that being said, we do not use ouijas or sensitives in our group. All our members take part in evidence review. That way the turn around to get back to the client is faster, cause it’s all about the client. All 7 members are well versed in all areas of the investigation. That way even though I have the most experience and I’m not there, I know the investigation will be done complete and in a professional manner. Along with representing IPI, Champaign County Paranormal has been accepted into the Taps family of investigators a few months back. We are the same team as before, but this just lets us help more people than before.
