PJay is the Founder of W.I.S.P. PJay has been fascinated with anything paranormal since childhood, when she first discovered at age 9 that not everyone commonly had dreams that came true. Through the years her interest evolved into collecting books on the paranormal and haunted places across the USA, and looking for folklore about haunts around her town and the nearby towns. One day in 2006 she was talking to a friend and discovered a mutual interest. Her friend related stories of living in a haunted house, and PJay told about odd occurrences and sounds in her brother’s house. As the result of the conversation, PJay asked some friends if they were interested in forming a paranormal group. They began as an all female group in 2006. The group now numbers 6, half of which is male, and all of which live in south-western Ky.
Finding the IPI website gave PJay a wealth of information on how to conduct investigations, honest information and critiques on equipment, and a sense of community. Several months later, she was given the position of Kentucky Chapter Representative for IPI, and in mid May of 2009, with the rollout of the new IPI website and forum, was honored to become the Head Rep for East South Central USA, which covers Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.
IPI State Reps for this area are Tommy Golden of Middle Tennessee Ghost Chasers, in Tennessee.
